Anyone can plan a trip for the club. Here is a list of possibilities which is being developed. We'll get it posted here and help you get the message out.

Crane Falls

Details:
Crane Falls Lake lies alongside the Snake River in the sagebrush south of Mountain Home. This lake is best fished from small boats and float craft (electric motors only), though several fishing docks are available. This is not a large lake and probably limited to a dozen boats at a time.
The lake holds an abundance of bluegill and largemouth bass and planted hatchery rainbow trout. In July I suspect the trout will be hunkered down in the cooler water and the Bass will be active. In July we may have some very hot days so be prepared with water, sunscreen and covering.
This lake is managed for trophy largemouth bass the limit is two LMB none under 20"

Cove Arm of CJ Strike is a two minute drive away for smallmouth, crappie etc.
If anyone has intelligence to share on fly fishing for Largemouth Bass please share it. The bluegills and smaller LMB may be interested in poppers. Larger baitfish patterns (trout fingerlings), Crawfish, may attract the bigger LMB ?
